David Deery is an American comedian and a pioneer of the underground comedy scene in Berlin. He's performed at Nightwash, Quatsch Comedy Club, Komische Nacht, The Hollywood Improv, the Comedy Store, The Comedy Mothership, Soho Theater, The Gloria Theater, The Edinburgh Fringe, The Jan Bummerman Show, and has toured Germany with his own show as well as opening for Oliver Polak and also Vincent Pfäfflin.
His greatest joy in life is making German people laugh using the English language, while simultaneously getting rejected by the German comedy industry who love to claim, "Zis won't verk in Germany."
