Mama told ya, the forward thinking label behind the French dance scene‘s prime tastemaker and visionary Anetha returns to Blitz for another night of stimulating beats to reshape Techno’s immanent future! Founded as label and allround creative agency, Mama Told Ya is set to (re-)shape and push Techno into a younger and more colorful, aware direction, with programs aimed at promoting ecological action, too. With it’s conceptual oriantated compilations and collaboration driven releases, the outlet challenges the boundaries of dance floor oriantated Techno. And has become one of the scene’s most consistent and exciting platforms for new music and talents at the intense end of Techno’s current development. Aside from Anetha and her well known, eclectic brand of fast and colorful, glossy yet tense Techno with dashes of Trance, Baraka, Jesse G, Lachesi step up to the booth. Fellow frenchman Lacchesi follows fast paced Techno dramaturges with minimalistic grooves and contemporary sound design: his hard-edged Techno is fueled by glitch-leaning IDM and fine-lined, spherical ambient textures. Inspired by the timeless likes of the Prodidy, as well as Massive Attack and Björk, Baraka’s sound and approach as DJs are shaped by their frequent and electrifying live-performances, and plenty of Acid & Trance! With occupations and affiliations of institutions such as Tresor, Hard Wax, RSO and Refuge Radio, Jesse G’s hard earned badges make a mark - discovering her delicate, yet metallic and trippy Techno with hints of UK Bass’ dazzling rhythms on the dance floor is even more fun though!

Mama Told Ya, das wegweisende Label hinter der französischen Tastemakerin Anetha, kehrt für eine weitere Nacht anregender und richtungsweisender Grooves ins Blitz zurück! Gegründet als Label und Allround-Kreativagentur, hat es sich Mama Told Ya zur Aufgabe gemacht, den Techno in eine jüngere und farbenfrohere, aber auch verantwortungsvollere Richtung zu lenken, mit Aktionen und Prozessen, die darauf abzielen, nachhaltiges ökologisches Handeln innerhalb der Szene zu fördern. 

Mit seinen konzeptuell orientierten Compilations und kollaborationsgetriebenen Veröffentlichungen fordert das Label die Grenzen des dancefloor-orientierten Technos heraus und ist zu einem der aufregendsten Imprints der Szene für neue Musik und Talente im zeitgenössischen Techno geworden. Neben Anetha und ihrem vielseitigen Sound aus schnellem, farbenfrohem, glossyem und spannungsgeladenem Techno mit Trance-Anleihen treten Baraka, Jesse G und Lacchesi ans DJ-Pult. 

Der Franzose Lacchesi inszeniert rasante Techno-Dramaturgien mit minimalistischen Grooves und zeitgemäßem Sounddesign: Sein kraftvoller Techno wird von glitch-lastigem IDM und fein gezeichneten, sphärischen Ambient-Texturen umrahmt. Inspiriert von zeitlosen Größen wie The Prodigy sowie Massive Attack und Björk, ist der Sound und Ansatz von Baraka als DJs von ihren elektrisierenden Live-Auftritten geprägt und mit jeder Menge Acid & Trance gespickt. Mit Affiliationen und Tätigkeiten bei Institutionen wie Tresor, Hard Wax, RSO und Refuge Radio hat Jesse G bereits jede Menge Erfahrung in der Szene gesammelt. Ihr Sound ist sinnlich, psychedelisch und doch metallisch und von den vielfältigen Rhythmen der UK Bass Szene geprägt.
