This conversation focuses on issues of visibility accounting for historical and contemporary examples and debates in Germany and abroad. It pursues the question who and what creates visibility, and for which reason. Kisiedu and Stemeseder include aesthetic considerations, educational and political dimensions. They address conceptual overwriting and the current pushback against DEI (efforts that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion) from various vantage points.
